Wilmer Paul Morris, 76, of Stanardsville, VA passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born October 28, 1941, son of the late Russell Morris and Ethel Morris.
Wilmer is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy “Jeannie” Morris; two sons, Richie Morris and his wife, Terri and Brad Courtney; grandchildren, Leyton, Jarrett and his girlfriend, Kenzie, Nicole, Kasey and her husband, Jordan, Peyton and Connor; great-grandchildren, Braylen and Chyler; siblings, Roy Morris, Vernon Morris and Wilbert Morris; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Wilmer was preceded in death by a son, Tony Morris.
Wilmer was a self-employed painting contractor for many years.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Byers officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
