William Andrew Shifflett

William Andrew Shifflett, 92, of Quinque, VA passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Laurels of Charlottesville. He was born on October 15, 1927 to the late James and Martha Shifflett.
He is survived by his children, William Richard Shifflett (Lynda), Allen Wayne Shifflett (Samantha), Juanita Lowe (Paul) and Rose Lawson; his brother, James Omie Shifflett; grandchildren, Sharon Lawson Taylor (Daniel), Michelle Lawson, Brittany Wright (Josh), Andy Lowe, Will, Colby, Parker and Spencer Shifflett; and great grandchildren, Evan and Delana Taylor and Riley Wright.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Evelyn Shifflett; brothers, Floyd Hubert Shifflett and Earman Shifflett; sisters, Leona Shifflett and Clara Shifflett; great granddaughter, Ella Taylor; and son-in-law, Doug Lawson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 6 – 8 p.m. at First Bible Baptist Church, 235 Crusaders Court, Stanardsville, VA 22973.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Philip Powell and Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating.
