William Emory McDaniel

William Emory McDaniel, 85, of Stanardsville, VA died on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1925 in Greene Co to the late Emory and Nora Shifflett McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Doris Ellen McDaniel, and two children, Doris Marie Deane of North Garden, VA and William Alvin McDaniel of Scottsville, VA.
Additional survivors include his grandchildren, Angela Deane, Anthony Deane, Shon McDaniel, Christopher McDaniel, and Kendall Breeden, three great grandchildren, Tyler Breeden, Faith Deane and MacGuire Deane and one brother, Kenneth Orville McDaniel of Stanardsville.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Glaucoma Research Foundation, 251 Post St. Suite 600 San Francisco, CA 94108.
