Theodore “Banie” Banks
Theodore “Banie” Banks, 72, of Stanardsville died on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Evergreene Nursing Care Center. He was born on December 19, 1938 in Greene Co., VA to the late Billy and Susie Banks.
Banie had a gentle and kind soul and a love for the outdoors and farming. He will be remembered as a very loyal, faithful, humble man to those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his dear friends and caregivers, Carlton and Allegra Spicer of Ruckersville, two brothers, James Banks of Washington, DC and Buddy Banks of New York, his niece, Brenda Banks, his nephew, Glen Banks and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harrison Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
