Tammy Marie Shifflett

Tammy Marie Shifflett, 50, of Ruckersville, Virginia gained her heavenly wings on June 24, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 31, 1973 to the late Ollie and Pauline Shifflett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Shifflett and her loving caregiving who she thought of as a sister, Letha Crews.

Tammy is survived by her sister, Doris Williams and her beloved brother in law Hank Williams, nephew Travis Clore, niece Kayla Shifflett (Dale), great nieces Trinity Clore, Delaney and Saylor Walter, her loving sisters Liz Herring, Deborah Moon, and Tonya Zimmerman, special, beloved friend whom she thought of as a father, Raymond Sisson, along with many other family and friends. 

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. Bostic and Medi Hospice for their care.

A service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Dyke, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.
