Tabitha Jean Nelson, 47, of Ruckersville, VA passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Tabitha was born July 21, 1971 in Charlottesville, VA, the daughter of Jennings B. Stephens and Marian E. Stephens.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Anthony D. Nelson; three daughters, Elle’Anna, Mya Pearl and Kelani Nelson; her parents, Jennings B. and Marian E. Stephens; siblings, Nicholas Stilson, Jr., Shannon Stilson, Shawn Stilson, Shirlene Barchard, Joshua Stilson, Renee VerValin and Amber VerValin; aunts, Bonnie Herring, Patsy Ryder and Patricia Crosby; grandmother, Beatrice Holmes; numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Stanardsville Baptist Church, 103 Madison Road Stanardsville, VA 22973 with Pastor Cary Lane officiating.
