Rose Sharon Miller Bunn

Rose Sharon Miller Bunn, 79, of Barboursville, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Saturday morning, February 10th, 2024.  She was ushered into Heaven surrounded by family. 

Rose was born October 16, 1944, in Logan, WV, to the Late William E. Winters, Sr., and Freida Marie Blake. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, David T. Miller Sr. 

Rose is survived by her daughter, Pamela Rose Miller Watson (Robert), and her children, Patrick David Miller, Hannah Marie Edmondson (Drew), and Hailey Nicole Watson; Son, David T. Miller Jr. (Ashlyn), and his children, Parker David Miller, Josie Lynn Miller, and Delaney Till Miller. 

Rose was Memaw to three great-grandchildren, Declan Drew Edmondson and Aiden Quinn Edmondson, and third generation “Rose”, granddaughter, Lillian Wren Rose Edmondson. 

She is also survived by her brother, William E. Winters, Jr. (Karen), and his children, Jennifer Dawn Winters Turner, children Sarah, Rachel, and Ruth; brother, William Roberson Winters (Amber), and his children Lily, Luke, and Holt; and sister, Patricia Carol Winters Allen (Bobby) with Blake Edward Allen (Kiley) with children Maison, Iain, Marleigh, Connor and Cooper. 

Rose loved her Lord and her family. In her later years, she struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis and the devastating effects it had on her body and hands. Still, she loved to paint on her iPad and was involved in every aspect of her family's activities.  She will dearly be missed, but she was ready to meet her Lord and see her husband, David, again, along with many family and friends in Heaven. 

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Solid Rock Full Gospel Church, 3580 Spotswood Trail, Barboursville, VA, with Rev. Larry Morris officiating.
