Robert Eppard

Robert Wayne Eppard, 68, of Stanardsville, VA passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 31, 2015. He was born on September 2, 1946 to the late Cletus and Ellie Eppard in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Robert recently retired from Intertrans Carrier Company. He was a lifelong truck driver with over two million safe driving miles. He inevitably was a devoted father and grandfather. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, every single one of them, the apple of his eye. He was a member of Covesville Hunt Club as he was an avid hunter and fisherman, one who absolutely loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his children; Robert Troy Eppard and his wife, Cheryl, Teresa Eppard Quick and her husband, Jeremy, Travis Eppard and his significant other, Susan Shifflett, Jessica Eppard Lam and her husband, Jason; Grandchildren; Chase, Brooklynne, Andon, Ethan, Megan, Preston and Colin; Sister in Law; Judy Eppard and numerous nieces, nephews, family and many friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Eppard.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville VA.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 5 2015 at 1:00pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville VA with Pastor Wayne Collis officiating.
Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
