Robert “Glenn” Deane
Robert Glenn Deane, 69, of Columbia, VA was called home on Thursday, December 4, 2014. He died peacefully at home. He was born on October 26, 1945 to the late Robert C. Deane and Maxene Lawson Patterson.
He was married for 44 years to the late Catherine J. Deane.
Mr. Deane was employed at H.T. Ferron Concrete for over 30 years where he retired.
He is survived by his son, Robert G. Deane, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn; grandson, Christopher G. Deane and his wife, Jessica; great grandson, Riley G. Deane; two sisters, Rita Moore and Debra Hunt; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hodges and husband, Davis and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, 50 Old Columbia Rd., Columbia, VA 23038 with the Rev. William Bess officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 50 Old Columbia Rd., Columbia, VA 23038.
