Robert "Bobby" Calvin Morris, Jr.

Robert Calvin Morris Jr., 77, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away at his residence on May 9, 2021.  

He was born on March 19, 1944, in Charlottesville Virginia, son of the late Robert Morris and Mamie Conley Morris.  He was raised in the loving home of the late Anna and Alec Conley.  

He was also preceded in death by his lifelong love, Barbara Beasley Morris and special sister, Louise Samuels.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Mark Morris and wife, Kelly of Stanardsville, VA Tim Morris and wife, Lisa of Stuarts Draft, VA and James Beasley and wife, Debbie of Keswick, VA; loving mother-in-law, who he called “Mom,” Edna Cannella of Port Richey, FL; special sisters, Frances Campbell, Joanna McInturff and Miriam Coffman all of Stanardsville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a lifelong farmer, gardener, printer, outdoorsmen and friend.  He was a devoted husband of 52 years, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, and devout Christian. 

A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 12, 2021, at 11:00 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, with Bobby’s grandson, James “Jimbo” Morris officiating. Bobby’s grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers. The service will be live streamed on Ryan Funeral Home’s Facebook page. The Interment will follow at Lydia Cemetery.
