Reva May Davis
Reva May Davis, 78, of Earlysville, died on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Charlottesville Health and Rehab. She was born on April 19, 1935 in Greene County to the late Elie and Edith Morris Collier.
Nanny as she was known to a lot of folks loved to care for anyone in need by cooking her famous masterpiece, her mashed potatoes, cleaning, or making a quilt for them. She was a “do’er”, taking care of whatever needed to be done, especially for her family that was so dear to her. She always had a “Nanny” hug for anyone that was strong as a bear. She also loved the outdoors from feeding the animals to growing beautiful flowers. She poured love into everything she did. She loved bluegrass gospel music and the Lord that the music uplifted. She is now with Him, her beautiful daughter and family she missed so much ~ waiting for the ones she left behind.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of the Piedmont, Charlottesville Health and Rehab and especially her nurses, Elaine, Graham and Angie for their love, compassion and devotion to her and our family during this time.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Davis and his wife, Sherri of Louisa, her sister, Connie Jones of Earlysville, her grandchildren, Jason, Jerry, Ashley, Jordan, Tyler, Brianna, Chase and Colby, her great granddaughter, Cierra, nephew, Nelson Davis, niece, Amanda Barnett, great nieces and nephews, Destiny, Christopher, Sara and Nelson, Jr. and numerous family, friends and loved ones.
