Ramel Lamar Jenkins

Ramel Lamar Jenkins, 30, of Stanardsville passed away in his home on Thursday February 2, 2023. Born August 9, 1992, he is survived by two moms: Linda Rochefort (Jerry) and Wanda Faye White-Jackson (Jarvis) and his father Ricky Lee Jenkins. He is also survived by his brothers McTrail Gray, Ricky Jenkins Jr., and Blake Williams, his sisters Ricardo Tucker (KeyAshia) and Rasheda Jenkins, and a special cousin Erin Johnson.

Throughout his 30 years of life, he lived a full one. He had a passion for cooking which led him to become a chef in Downtown Charlottesville. He also enjoyed many sports, especially football and wrestling. In addition to his love of sports, Ramel enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved music and dancing. In particular, he loved doing “The Dougie” and “Souja Boy.” 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Lindsay Ellis.
