Pauline Elizabeth Morris, 79, of Barboursville, VA died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born June 8, 1932 in Orange, VA to the late John Paul and Pearl Conley Morris.

Mrs. Morris was devoted to her Lord and her church, Mt. Lebanon Church of the Brethren where she was a Sunday school teacher for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening but above all she cherished her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Gray and her husband, Robert of Richmond, Steve Morris and his wife, Imogene of Lynchburg and Trudy Dyer of Barboursville.

Additional survivors include her siblings, Frank Morris and his wife, Jean, Fred Morris and his wife, Frances and Jean Lloyd and her husband, Carroll, five grandchildren, Woody Dyer, Meghann Mathews, Meredith Dean, Ashley Beasley and Matthew Gray and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Myrtle “Myrt” Morris and her son-in-law, Frank Dyer.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 6 -8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor David Kingrea officiating.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Mt. Lebanon Church of the Brethren, c/o Ted Collier 4151 Hamm Rd. Barboursville, VA 22923.
