Norine Marie St. Pierre Bodkins

Norine Marie St. Pierre Bodkins, 78, of Culpeper and Gordonsville died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 comfortably at The Village at Gordon House.

She was born September 8, 1936 in Limestone, Maine to Leonard and Lena Cote St. Pierre. She was one of two children. She was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband of 52 years, Roy Daniel Bodkins, her older son Roy Daniel (Danny) Bodkins II and second son Jeffrey Paul Bodkins, in addition to her brother Richard St. Pierre.

Mrs. Bodkins was a devoted wife and mother. She retired from Central Fidelity Bank now Wells Fargo with 25 years of service. She was a member of the Women’s Club of VFW Post # 2524 where she volunteered many years with her now deceased husband Roy. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children Debra Bodkins Smith and her husband, Steven of Moseley, and Samuel Joseph Bodkins and his wife Rita of Gordonsville. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Taylor Bodkin Smith of Chicago, IL and Shannon Bodkins of Gordonsville.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Dayton Cemetery on Rt 732 (Bowman Rd) with Rev. Mr. Kevin P. Hogan officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Culpeper VFW Post #2524 or Rescue Squad of Orange, VA.
