Nora demonstrated and taught many others these skills. This first was done via the Home Demonstrators Club and then part of The Stitchers, a home craft group. If anyone was having difficulty with a project, Nora was the one sought out for help.
Nora loved Spring Hill Baptist Church where she became a member after marrying Lee. Nora and Lee were active members of the church. Her husband’s family played an important part in the early days of Spring Hill and Lee’s family were founding members.
Nora taught Sunday school for over 25 years. To this day her students remember her, the lessons she taught them and how she encouraged them to learn the books of the bible.
