Marian Ellen Stephens

Marian Ellen Stephens, 76, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away at her home on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Born on July 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Amarion and Beadrice Holmes. She is preceded in death by her daughter Tabitha J. Nelson. 

Marian is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jennings B. Stephens. She is also survived by four sons, Nickolas Edward Stilson, Shannon E. Stilson Sr. and wife Sherry, Shawn W. Stilson, and Joshua E. Stilson, and two sisters Bonnie Herring and Patricia Crosby and husband Toby, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Marian had a kind heart. The past 17 years she spent her time caring for her daughter and granddaughter. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling and singing in the choir at the Stanardsville Baptist Church. 

Services will be private.
