Margaret Sheler Henshaw

Margaret Sheler Henshaw, 90, of Stanardsville went home to with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Evergreen Nursing Care Center.
Margaret was born August 2, 1921 in Stanardsville, daughter of the late Frank and Eula Deane Sheler.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen C. Henshaw, Sr.; two sons, John Henshaw and Douglas Henshaw; seven brothers, Blatzer, Thomas, Harry, Ralph, Lloyd, Elwood and Wallace Sheler.
She is survived by three sons, Owen, Jr. and his wife, Shirley, Bernard and his wife, Paula all of Stanardsville, Floyd Henshaw of Louisa; 21 grandchildren, Debby, Gary, Lisa, Julie, Tammy, John Jr., Steve, Wanda, Kathy, Frankie, Jackie, Margaret, Rebecca, Johna, Christy, Ashley, Emily, David, Katlyn, Audrey and Brittney; 21 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends that she loved as her own.
Margaret was a loving and caring person who can now rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Ryan Funeral Home with Robert “Bob” Akers and Daniel Strogis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be: Barry Racer, Brandon Racer, Matthew Herring, Miles Herring, Austin Henshaw and David Henshaw.
