Mabel Hedges

Mabel Hedges, 87, of Stanardsville passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Culpeper Health and Rehab.

She was born October 28, 1930 in Freeport, New York, daughter of the late Edward McCarthy and Estelle Forbes.

Mabel is survived by her sons, Kevin Hedges and his wife, Wanda, Brian Hedges and his wife, Cindy; two sisters, Elva English and Paulette Burns; six grandchildren, Megan Roach, Dwayne Courtney, Josh Hedges, Harris Hedges, Jon Courtney and Shannon Courtney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hedges.

A private service will be held at a later date in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
