Louin “Tommy” Monroe Deane, 74, of Ruckersville, VA passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on January 2, 1942 in Albemarle County to the late Tommy and Annie Deane.
Mr. Deane was the owner and operator of L.M. Deane Plumbing. He enjoyed the outdoors and worked hard all of his life to raise his family. He had a passion for tinkering with old cars, collecting old guns and helping anyone in need but above all he adored his family. He was an amazing father and grandfather who will be missed deeply.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Deane and his wife, Brenda, Richard Deane and his wife, Reeda, Gail Harris and her husband, JR, Connie Deane, Melissa Dean and her husband, Norman, Betty Kent and her husband, Chainey and Glenda Shifflett and her husband, Mark; a special granddaughter, Sierra and her fiancé, Joe; two half brothers; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Annie Betty Deane.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11 am at Nortonsville Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rt. 663, with Brother Frank Chapman officiating.
Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
