Leroy Richard Morris
Leroy Richard Morris, 65, of Charlottesville, VA died on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born on may 23, 1947 in Charlottesville ,VA to Millie Shifflett Morris of Earlysville and the late Elvin Morris.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Morris and his niece, Amy Johnson.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers Elbert Nelson Morris of Scottsville, VA Leon Morris and his wife, Brenda of Chattanooga, TN, three nephews, Timothy Morris, Michael Morris, and Ronald Wayne Morris, several aunts, uncles and a sister-in-law, Alice Morris of Earlysville.
The family would like to thank the staff of Region Ten, UVA Hospital and the doctors, nurses and all of the people that has worked with Leroy over the years.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. C.C. Kurtz officiating.
