June Shirley Baugher Deaton

June Shirley Baugher Deaton, 77 of Ruckersville, VA died on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on January 28, 1934 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Raleigh and Olga McDaniel Baugher.
June was member of the Poetry Society for many years where she wrote beautiful poems, poetry and song lyrics. She loved being outdoors whether it was gardening, taking walks on Skyline Drive or spending time fishing with her grandchildren. Her loving spirit will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Varner of Ruckersville, three grandchildren Meagan Kuper, Dakota Kuper and Adrian Deaton and two great grandchildren, Demari Deaton and Micah Alexander.
Additional survivors include her siblings, Carl E. Baugher, Glynn Baugher, Larry W. Baugher and Violet Burns and her son-in-law, Scott Kuper.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Fred Baugher, Hazel Clayson, Roy Baugher and Kay Ortwein.
A private service will be held at a later date.
