Judy W. Brown, age 68, passed away peacefully at Martha Jefferson Hospital on February 20, 2011 in Charlottesville, Virginia surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Newark, Delaware, the daughter of the late Leonard and Yvonne Wollaston.
Judy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 46 years, George A. Brown of Ruckersville, Virginia, her children, Brian and his wife Diana of Richmond, Virginia; Randy and his wife Jodi of Clayton, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Simon (age 7), Griffin (age 5) and Davis (age 4) Brown. She is also survived by her sisters, Lora Lee Harget and the late Harold Harget of Newark, Delaware and Donna Jones and her husband Dr. Barry Jones of San Marcos, California and many loving nieces and nephews.
Judy and her family lived over the years in Newark, Delaware; Orange Park, Florida; Fairfax, Virginia and after retirement in Ruckersville, Virginia. She worked for Parsons Corp. in Fairfax, Virginia for 20 years and retired in 2007.
Judy's first love was her husband and family, but she found pleasure in many things such as reading, needlework, traveling and cooking for her family. She had a wide circle of close friends with whom she shared many specials memories and outings.
Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends at the beach over the years and especially her time with her grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, Virginia with the Rev. Catharine Guest officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the name of Judy W. Brown to Cancer Care, Martha Jefferson Hospital, 500 Martha Jefferson Drive, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911.
