Joyce Leake Fisher, 69 of Ruckersville, VA died on Monday, July 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 23, 1943 in Charlottesville, VA to the late William Leake and Virginia Shifflett Eddins.
She is survived by her two children, Rebecca Fisher Harlow and her husband, Andy of Ruckersville and Robert Fisher and his wife, Crissy of Ruckersville, six grandchildren, Brandon Harlow, Trenton Fisher, Christian Harlow, Julie Fisher, Brian Harlow and Tonya Shifflett and one great grandchild, Chloe Harlow.
Additional survivors include her siblings, William “Bill” Leake and his wife, Mary, Judy Nicely and her husband, Gordon, Stanley Leake and Merdith Leake.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Lamb officiating.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jill York and Hospice of the Piedmont for all of their love, compassion and guidance they have shown to her and the family.
