John "Josie" Joseph Lang

John Joseph Lang, known to most as Josie, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 1st 2015. A sudden illness took Josie away from this world, and at the time of death, he was surrounded by his loving friends and family.
Josie, born on August 29, 1981, was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Joseph Morris, and his grandfather, John Anderson Morris.
Josie is survived by his mother, Sheryl Y Lang, and her companion Jeff Harris. He is also survived by his fiancé, Jessica Bradley. Two sons, Winston Joseph Lang and Gage Ree Shifflett. Three sisters, Tina Lang and her companion Ronald Morris, Amanda Lang and her companion Ronnie Thacker, Wendy Morris. A brother, Vernon Paugh, and his wife Sarah. Nieces, Haley Paige Thacker, Dakota Paige Morris and Desiree Paugh. Nephews, Hunter Paugh and Taylor Jones.
Josie has so many friends and family members, it is hard to name just a few, but to name one, a very special woman Wanda Holsapple. All who knew JoJo knew what an avid sportsman he was. Josie loved to hunt and fish. JoJo was also a loving and devoted father. Josie and Winston were best friends. Winston loved hunting and fishing with his daddy.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7th 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville Va 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8th 2015 at 11am at Ryan Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Morris officiating.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
