Jan William Zyderveld

Jan “John” William Zyderveld passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 in his home, with loved ones by his side, after a long battle with cancer.
John retired from Giant Food after 30 years of employment and worked at Advance Auto Parts following his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and always had a quick wit about him. He will be remembered most by his favorite saying, “There was none before me and there will be no more after me.”
John is survived by his devoted wife Mary Ann (Walton) Zyderveld; his four children Lisa, Angel, Kim and Randall and their spouses; two sisters and a brother. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Grace.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Melda “Mousie” and his mother Florence.
There will be a private service for family and close friends at Ruckersville Cemetery.
