James Charlie Shifflett
James Charlie Shifflett, 76, of Baltimore, MD died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore. He was born on May 26, 1935 in Charlottesville, VA to the late James and Maggie Shifflett.
He is survived by his children, James “Eddie” Shifflett and his wife, Lesa of Grottoes, George Shifflett and his fiance, Lisa of Dyke, Charlie Shifflett, Tammy Hobson, Jennifer Shifflett-Sheets, Richard Shifflett and Monica Dawson all of Baltimore.
He is also survived by his siblings, Helen, Velma, Patsy, Naomi, Charlotte, Maggie and Timothy Paul, 10 grandchildren and his companion, Kathy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gilbert “George Pickett” and Lizzy and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Church of the Brethren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Church of the Brethren with Rev. Curtis Morris officiating.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
