James Wilbert Morris, Jr., 57, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on August 14, 1959 in Charlottesville, VA to the late James W. Morris and Ellen Roach Morris.
Mr. Morris enjoyed riding with his niece in her Mustang and sitting on the porch, playing with his neighbor’s dog, Charlie.
He is survived by his sisters, Jannie Greiman and her husband, Larry and Gloria Faye Shifflett and her husband, Dickie; niece, Priscilla Shifflett and her fiancé, Eric; and his great niece, Sam.
The family would like to thank all of the ministers, New Century Hospice Chaplain, Lorraine Lewis, Kay Lamm, Glenda Morris, Tina Rutt, N.P., the staff of Grace Health and Rehab, Kim and Sally, and the staff of Ryan Funeral Home for all of your love, care and dedication shown to our family. Jannie and Gloria have made a lot of friends over the years and especially through the patients and staff of Grace Health and Rehab.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Middle River Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Pastors James Akerson, Josh Shifflett and Eddie Deane officiating.
