James Littleton Mallory, Jr., 72, of Bremo Bluff, VA passed away Monday, September 4, 2017.
He was born January 31, 1945 in the Bronx, New York, son of the late James L. Mallory, Sr. and Frances Early.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa L. Mallory and a brother, Ricky Mallory.
James is survived by his companion of 40 years, Julia Lacy and her children, Lewis Lacy, Danny Lacy and Donna Lacy; four sons, James L. Mallory, III of Lynchburg, Ralph Mallory, James A. Brock and his wife, Paula, Chris Mallory and his wife, Veronica all of Charlottesville; four daughters, Belinda A. Faulkner of Culpeper, Maggie E. Brock, Angie E. Brock, Annette D. Brock all of Charlottesville; two brothers, Winfred D. Mallory of Charlottesville and Larry C. Mallory of Upper Marlboro, MD; one sister, Nana Y. Ward and her husband, James of Madison; 30 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 71 Shiloh Road, Stanardsville, VA with Rev. Harrison Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Early Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
