Helen Austin Snow, 94, of Stanardsville, VA died on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Grace Health and Rehab of Greene. She was born on February 1, 1919 in Albemarle County to the late Clarence and Emma Garrison Austin.
She is survived by her son, Larry Snow of Ruckersville, and three grandchildren, Danny Berry, Bryant Snow and Jenna Snow.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Snow, daughter, Emily Gail Berry and siblings, Gladys Nicholson, Lucy Jennings, Elmer Austin Cecil Austin, Hattie Batton and Orie Austin.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968 with Rev. Mark Holder officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy Suite 300 Charlottesville, VA 22911.
