Helen Snow Dickerson

Helen Snow Dickerson, 95, of Ruckersville, departed this life Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Renaissance Assisted Living in Stanardsville, VA.
She was born November 23, 1921, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mable Snow.
Helen is survived by her brother, Floyd Snow and his wife, Nancy; three sisters, Thelma Taylor, Evelyn Lawson and Emogene Powell and her husband, Larry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Dickerson; sister, Ora Snow; two brothers, Carroll Snow and Wilton Snow.
Helen worked for American Pharmaceutical Company in Washington, D.C. and returned to Greene County, where she was employed at State Farm in Charlottesville for 25 years.
She enjoyed gardening and was active in the Rippin Run Garden Club.
Helen was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Charlottesville.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Liz Forney officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
