Harold J. Taylor, 66, of Stanardsville, VA passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born on February 25, 1948 in Greene Co. to the late Harold and Pansy Taylor.

He is survived by his children, Amy Jo Taylor of Charlottesville and Rodney "Spanky" Taylor and his wife, Lisa of Ruckersville, his granddaughter, Heather Shifflett of Ruckersville and his siblings, Lonnie Taylor and his wife Odine, Peggy Roach, Marjorie Lamb, Charlie Taylor and his wife, Maureen and Janet Snow.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy B. Taylor.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens.
