Haleigh Jade Welch, 8, of Culpeper died on Monday, May 2, 2011 at her residence. She was born on August 15, 2002 in Manassas, VA to Bud and Patricia Welch Neal of Culpeper.
Haleigh had a contagious smile and a sweet disposition that could shed light and make an instant connection with everyone she met. She loved her teddy bears, cabbage patch dolls and especially Strawberry Shortcake. Haleigh is free and her sweet spirit will live in our hearts forever.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her siblings, Kaila Renee Sprouse Welch and Chase Alan Neal, grandparents, Larry Welch, Hayde Welch, Sharon Welch, Charles A Neal, Kelly Neal, and Pam Pratt, aunts and uncles, Jack Welch, Darlene and John Bourque, Bobby and Michelle Hubble, Penny Welch, Chelsea Welch, Charles and Jennifer Neal, Jackie Davis and Jason Henderson and numerous cousins, family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Brother Lindsey Savage officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
