Goldie Brown

Goldie Ruth Brown, 86, of Wolftown, VA passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1928 in Madison, VA to the late Russell and Grace Sharp Shipley.
She is survived by her 4 children, David Brown and companion Linda of Rochelle, Cathy Taylor of Barboursville, Patsy Brown of Wolftown and Darla Collier and her husband, Allen of Wolftown; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Brown, Keith Brown and his companion, Angela, Charles Taylor and Amanda Taylor ; and 2 great grandchildren, Amber Carpenter and Wyatt Brown.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Brown; her infant son, Charles D. Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Berlin Shipley and Virginia Miller.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A private graveside will be held in the Brown Family Cemetery.
