Frank Elwood Dyer, Jr.
Frank Elwood Dyer, Jr., 59, of Barboursville passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born August 8, 1951 in Charlottesville, son of the late Frank Elwood Dyer, Sr. and Edith Rosamond Atkins Dyer Moubray.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Trudy Morris Dyer; two sons, Frank “Woody” E. Dyer, III and his girlfriend, Amanda Pitts of Barboursville, Brian Williams and his wife, Alex of Charlottesville; stepfather, Charles W. Moubray of Gordonsville; mother-in-law, Pauline E. Morris of Barboursville; his siblings, Preston, Teresa, Doodles and Blythe; his dog, Chen Lou; and many other family members and dear friends.
Frank was employed for many years with Brown’s Automotive as a body technician.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville with the Rev. Larry Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Keith Williams, Thad Lewis, Harvey Stoner, Bill Speidan, Marshall Rucker and Marcus Tinsley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Ryan Funeral Home.
