Emily Gail Berry, 64, of Stanardsville, VA died on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1946 in Charlottesville, VA to Helen Snow of Stanardsville and the late, Vernon Snow.
Gail was a member of Swift Run Baptist Church. In 2010 she retired as the Treasurer of Greene County after 11 years of service. She loved working on ceramics, putting puzzles together and especially her dog, Buffy.
In addition to her mother is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Sanford Berry, her son, Daniel Kirk Berry of Stanardsville, her brother, Larry Snow of Ruckersville and her step-son John Bradley Berry of Quinque.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Holder officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gail’s name to a charity of choice.
