Elijah Christian Davis

Elijah Christian Davis, 20 of Barboursville, VA passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on September 7, 1998 in Charlottesville to his loving parents, Karen and Marcus Tinsley and Brian McNeill.

Elijah was a loving son, brother and grandson who attended William Monroe High School and made countless friends.

In addition to his parents, Karen, Marcus and Brian, he is survived by his grandparents, Gwen Sparks (Allan), Sharon Baskerville, Malcolm McNeill and Valerie and Walter Tinsley.; his brother, Khalil Tinsley; aunts and uncles, Kelly Davis (Kenny Gilbert), Walter Tinsley, Jr. (Kimberly), Shaun Baskerville, Kevin McNeill and Michael McNeill; his cousin, Kasean Kovarik; great aunt, Margo Davis; and many other loving family members and friends too numerous to mention.

Elijah was preceded in death by his grandfather, Barry K. Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 3510 Spotswood Trail, Barboursville, VA 22923, with Rev. Robert Anthony and Rev. David Knighton officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank all of the staff, doctors and nurses at the UVA MICU and Rev. James Louderback for their loving care and support of Elijah and our family during this difficult time.
