Dora Virginia Durrer
Dora Virginia Durrer of Ruckersville, VA passed away on December 3, 2014 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Greene County.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Richard Durrer and Meta Stuart Wood Durrer. She was also preceded in death by a sister Joyce Marie Rowe, three brothers, Henry Edward Durrer, Stuart Durrer, Sr. and John R. Durrer, Sr. and one nephew, Niceadaus Durrer, Sr.
She is survived by two brothers, Lucian M. Durrer and Raymond A. Durrer of Ruckersville, three sister-in-laws, Doris P. Durrer of Barboursville, Jearl P. Durrer and Jodee Durrer of Ruckersville and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and retired from the Federal Government FBI.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Greene County Rescue Squad, PO Box 302 Stanardsville, VA 22973.
