Donna Brill Sparks
Donna Brill Sparks, 50, of Barboursville, VA went to be with the Lord on July, 31, 2012. She worked for Frank IX and State Farm but really found her joy in helping other children in Greene County by being a bus driver and teacher’s aid. She was devoted to her daughter’s special needs and helped other children like her daughter.
Mrs. Sparks is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Allan Sparks, her daughter, Amy, her parents, Michael and Hattie Brill of Stanardsville, her mother-in-law, Mildred Sparks of Barboursville, her brother, Dwight Brill and his wife, Angie of Stanardsville and their children, Katie and Kelly, her brother, Jeff Brill and his wife, Shay of Charlottesville, brother-in-law, John Sparks, Jr and his wife, Linda of Barboursville, sister-in-law, Patricia Fairfax and her husband, Donald of Barboursville, numerous aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces, cousins, friends and a special aunt, Joyce Wheeler of Barboursville.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Beasley, father-in-law, John William Sparks and sister-in-law, Juanita Sparks Nicholson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11 am at Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Sowers officiating.
Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Donna’s name to the Greene County Rescue Squad, PO Box 302 Stanardsville, VA 22973 and/or Ruckersville Fire Department, PO Box 789 Ruckersville, VA 22968.
