Dolores Marie Morris, 72, of Barboursville, VA died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on June 15, 1942 in Charlottesville, VA to Guy Batten and Lillian Davis.
She is survived by her children, Glen Morris and his wife, Wanda of Ruckersville, Wanda Morris and her husband, Ronnie of Ruckersville, Bobby Morris and his wife, Tina of Barboursville, Lori Morris and her fiancé, Derick Keaton of Manassas, Jamie Morris and his fiancé Lisa Jarell of Louisa and Amy Morris and her fiancé, Chris Roberts of Charlottesville.
Additional survivors include her siblings, Shirley Roberts, Guy Batten, Jr. “Sonny”, Sharon Ormsby and Stan Batten, 11 grandchildren, Benji Morris, Carol Weeks, Shannon Morris, April Salyers and her husband, Josh, Brandon Morris and his wife, Ashley, Denver Tuthill, Codie Tuthill, Kierstin Morris, Taylor Morris, Kayla Bennett, and Chris Roberts, Jr., 7 great grandchildren, Jordan Morris, Christopher and Logan Salyers, Haley, Hunner and Hayden Morris, and Jonathen Weeks and her best friend, Jodie Durrer and her son, John.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Morris.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
