Deborah Elizabeth Nidermaier

Deborah “Debbie” Nidermaier, 69, of Bumpass, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Debbie was born on May 14, 1953, daughter of the late Randolph M. Critzer and Mildred Lamb Critzer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Priddy and her beloved dog, Chico.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Larry” Nidermaier; daughter, Michelle Jordan and her husband, C.J. of Palmyra, VA; sons, Mark Dodson of Culpeper, VA and Cory Dodson and his wife, Nicole of Madison; her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Matthew, Macie, Mason, Miles, Austin and Jacob.

Additional survivors include two nephews; a grand-fur dog, Maxie; a fur daughter, Cricket; cat, Chrissie; and numerous extended family and very dear friends.

Debbie was an active member of Little River Baptist Church, which she loved. She enjoyed crafts, her gourds, flowers, puzzles, the mountains of West Virginia and trips to Colonial Beach.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Lake Anna Hideaway, 5152 Courthouse Road Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22551.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Ruckersville Community Cemetery.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Department and Rescue Squad for their fast response and efforts.
