Conrad Ellis Snow, 78 of Charlottesville, VA died on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1934 in Greene County to the late Reuben and Emma Breeden Snow.
Mr. Snow loved being outdoors tending to his garden and watching the hummingbirds. Most of all he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and great man that was loved by all.
He is survived by his children, Steven Snow, Ronnie Snow and his wife, Marjorie, Lizzy Tomlin and her husband, Nick, Douglas Snow and his wife, Cindy, and Gerald Snow.
Additional survivors include his grandchildren, Amy, Kim, Wade, Ashley, Wendy, Matthew, Gary, Wayne and Brian, his siblings, Rozelia Shifflett, Nellie Carver, Joe Snow, and Charlie Snow, special companion and friend, Dorothy Taylor and 19 great grandchildren..
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellie Frances Snow, his granddaughter, Robyn, his great grandson, Matthew II and numerous siblings.
The family would like to thank Janet and Boy Blue for their help and love during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor David Flack officiating.
Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy Suite 180 Charlottesville, VA 22911.
