Clifton Breeden

Clifton Breeden, 74, of Ruckersville, VA died on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation of Greene. He was born on October 18, 1937 in Greene County to the late Robert and Rhoda Breeden.
Mr. Breeden was a mechanic in his earlier years at Powell Brothers Garage in Ruckersville and later became a self employed truck driver.
He is survived by his grandson, Jason Breeden and two great grandchildren, Jace and Jada Breeden, of Elkton, his sister, Dorothy Gentry of Stanardsville and Greg, Wayne and Tracey Rogers, three that he cared for as his own children.
Additional survivors include his nieces and nephews, Harold Gentry, Charlotte Collier, Mary Shifflett, Barbara Shifflett, Emmajean Collier, Melinda Smith, Barbara Shifflett, John Gentry and Phillip Gentry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Robbie Breeden, two brothers, Thomas and Herbert Breeden and his longtime companion, Lois Rogers.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lydia Cemetery with Brother Eddie Deane officiating.
