Cindy Michelle Shifflett

Cindy Michelle Shifflett, 42, of Ruckersville, Virginia suddenly passed away on August 27, 2024. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Jane Toombs of Bumpass, Virginia; and one niece, Amanda Michelle Shifflett.

Cindy is survived by her father, Roger Lee Shifflett of Charlottesville; three children, Dana Marie Shifflett, Shane Michael Shifflett and Desiray Nicole Shifflett; one grandson, Jace Cameron Purdue, whom she cherished the most. She also leaves behind her boyfriend and lifetime partner, Richard Daughtry; four brothers, Kenny Smith, AJ Smith, Donnie Shifflett, and Dusty Toombs; her twin sister, Wendy Shifflett; father and mother-in-laws, John Daughtry and Doris Crawford of Ruckersville and seventeen nieces and nephews. 

Cindy was one of a kind. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially adored her time with her grandson Jace, racing their trucks together. She was a proud GiGi to her grandson who she loved deeply and cherished forever from sunrise to sunset. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her children doing what they loved together - family vacations, sitting by the bonfire, watching movies, and cheering on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Cindy was a kind-hearted person who always put others before herself. She would light up a room when she walked in with her smile and spirit. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and all who knew her. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 2-4p.m. at Batten Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA, 22968.
