Charlotte Marie Newman

Charlotte Marie Newman, 94, of Stanardsville, Virginia, was called home on September 12, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Franklin Willard March and Dorothy Mae Manes. Her life was a testament to resilience and determination, marked by numerous achievements and contributions to her community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin David Wolfe, and her brother, James March.

Her children, Richard Alan Newman (Susan) and Cynthia Louise Dailey (Robert), her grandchildren Robert Dailey III, Franklin Dailey, and Casey Dailey, and three great-grandchildren are left to cherish her memory.

Charlotte loved spending time with her family and living each day as a new adventure, spreading joy to everyone she encountered. She also enjoyed music, crafting, travel, and singing with the big bands.

A memorial service will be held for immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA in Charlotte's name.
