Charles “Chick” McCollum Wilber, III, 65, of Barboursville, VA died on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 18, 1948 in Illinois to Gloria Harrington Wilber and the late Charles Wilber, II.
He is survived by his daughters, Lyndsey Erin Wilber and Melissa Christine Oakley and her husband, Thomas, one sister, Ramona Wilber, his granddaughter, Isabel Piper Oakley, the mother of his children, Georgia Wilber and many special friends he met along the way.
In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made in his name to the Outer Banks Preservation Association online at www.obpa-nc.org
A private family service will be held at a later date.
