Charles Sexton Knapp, Jr

Charles Sexton Knapp, Jr, 81, of Barboursville, Virginia passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. He was born on December 14, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Sexton Knapp, Sr. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Morris Knapp, daughter, Lynn Ann Johnson and husband Scott, and two grandchildren, Amber Johnson and Alyssa Johnson. 

Charles served in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine Corp. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He loved watching NASCAR on the weekends, especially his favorite driver Kyle Bush. He was a lover of bluegrass and old country music. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Holder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Internment will be held at Mount Paran Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
