Carroll Huffman Snow, Jr.

Carroll Hoffman Snow, Jr., 76, of Ruckersville, VA passed away peacefully, with his daughters and sister, Judy by his side, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 24, 1944 in Greene Co., VA to the late Carroll H. Snow, Sr. and Helen Dowell Rucker.

Junior served our country in the United States Army. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved gardening and tending to his flowers. He was truly loved by so many family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his children, Tracy Deane (Gary) and Pam Totty (Scott) all of Ruckersville; Ginger Morris who he thought of as a daughter of Harrisonburg; siblings, Ethel Aylor of Madison, Alvin Snow of Charlottesville and Judy Baugher of Ruckersville; grandchildren, Angela Garner (Adam), Garrett Totty, and Parker Totty; and great grandchildren, Landon and Jase Garner.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Clay Snow.

The family would like to thank his wonderful caretakers, Gwen and Emily for all of their love and dedication, and Hospice of the Piedmont for their devoted care.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 5401 Watts Passage, Charlottesville, VA 22911 with Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army.
