Brantley Scott Payne, 3 months, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on September 20, 2017 to Richard Payne and Tracy Shiflett.
Brantley was truly a blessing and deeply loved. He courageously fought every day for his life and will always be remembered and cherished as an amazing little boy.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Melody and Sean Payne; his grandparents, Margaret Shiflett, Teresa Smallwood, Scott Smallwood and Hugh Underwood; his aunts, Nikki and Megan Smallwood; and his cousin, Laina Harpold.
A funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
