Bobby Allen Madison
Bobby Allen Madison, age 62, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 9th, 2015 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Loretta Marie Harlow Madison, and their three sons and spouses, Devin Allen Madison and Kristi Morris of Barboursville, Mark Andrew and Jill Madison of Gordonsville, and Timothy Scott and Lori Madison of Lynchburg; and six grandchildren, Dylan, Gracie, Abby, Calleigh, Sarah, and Emily, who were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by two brothers, Christopher C. “Billy” Madison and Walter Dewitt “WD” Madison, and six sisters, Mary Lee Robinson, Anna Cole Hartley, Nora Marie Richardson, Betty Mae Campbell, Evelyn Kaye Landram, and Patricia Lynn Madison, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby was born September 14th, 1952 in Mineral, Virginia in Louisa County to the late Christopher Columbus Madison and Georgia Lee Waller Madison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie E. “Pete” Madison, John Larry Madison, George Franklin “Tiny” Madison, and two sisters, Barbara Jean Madison and Wanda Ann Sharpe.
Bobby was a retired iron worker and a small-business owner of South River Dog Supply, who worked tirelessly to provide a loving home for his family. He enjoyed hunting and shared that passion with his family, especially with his favorite hunting buddy, Dylan. Bobby enjoyed spending time with numerous friends and family throughout the area. He was quick to laugh and brought joy to the lives of those fortunate to know him. He will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 201 at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA.
A funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Ryan Funeral Home in Ruckersville, VA, with Reverend Wendell Lamb officiating.
Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bobby's life.
